Top Ten Tuesday...Top Ten Series I'd Like To Start But Haven't Yet

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish

  1. Bloodlines by Richelle Mead - I loved the Vampire Academy series and have no idea why I have not started reading this series. I even have the books!
  2. The weather Warden series by Rachel Caine - Rachel Caine is my go to author, I love everything she writes and again, I have this series why haven't I read it?
  3. The Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris - Another series I have but have not read.
  4. Dust and Decay by Jonathan Mayberry - I have the first book in the series and gave it to my husband to read. He really enjoyed it and ask me at least once a month if I have started it or not.
  5. Sherlyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter Series - I have totally enjoyed the Chronicles of Nick and it is set in the same world.
  6. Fablehaven by Brandon Mull - This is my families favorite juvenile fiction and really need to read it. Again I have this box set.
  7. The Mortal Instruments by Cassaundra Clare - My husbands favorite YA paranormal. He listens to this series once a year.
  8. Beyonders by Brandon Mull - Again a recommendation from the hubs. We have this set on audiobook.
  9. Matched by Ally Condie - Everyone I know loves this series. Being from Utah and not having read Ally Condie's Matched trilogy is like being from Utah and never have been skiing. *gasp* I should be ashamed.
  10. Across the Universe by Beth Revis - I stood in line to get Beth Revis to sing my copy of Across the Universe and then never read it. She is adorably funny and I enjoyed every minute of her book signing. I just have never gotten around to reading it.
Wow, this weeks Top Ten Tuesday made me realize how many series I have already purchased and never gotten around to reading. Ah, the life of a book blogger, stacks of books but never enough time.

Thank you for stopping by My Life With Books. I will be chasing the list of participating bloggers on The Broke and The Bookish website, but the list gets pretty big pretty fast. Leave me a comment so I can make sure and check out your blog and get to know you better.

Happy Reading!

Ooh, great picks! We have Bloodlines and Sookie Stackhouse in common. And what could be more amazing than a husband who loves The Mortal Instruments?! :)

And thanks for dropping by my blog, Jen! :)

Bloodlines is on my list too! I read the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series and loved it, so hopefully I can read the rest! Across the Universe is awesome too! Great list :)

Here's my Top Ten!

Yeah for Bloodlines. I always thought Adrian deserved better than how he was treated in VA!

Great picks. :)

I didn't care for Matched or Crossed to be honest. The writing was beautiful, but the pacing was incredibly slow and none of the characters really have a personality. Also, there is no solid antagonist besides "The Society" so it feels kind of unreal, especially since the world-building is questionable. Woah, sorry, kind of ranting now.

Across the Universe is amazing! Really good YA mysteries.

Yes, you definitely need to start the Mortal Instruments series! I love that series!!!

PS-I posted my review if you're interested in reading what I had to say. I posted it on Saturday.

Ooooh. I didn't care for Across the Universe, but the Rot & Ruin series is great. I've only gotten through the first book, but I have Dust & Decay on my shelf and I am so ready to get to it!

The Mortal Instruments series is quite excellent (and the spin-off Infernal Devices even better)! ALSO I enjoyed the first half of the sookie stackhouse books, the series kinda took a nosedive later on but I would recommend the series. The fourth book is my fave!
I have Dust & Decay sitting on my shelf right now...someday.
Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
