Welcome to day four of Dan Haring's Oldsould blog tour. I am very excited to introduce and interview Erin, a liason for Jason and the Oldsouls.

Hi Erin, tell us a little about yourself.
I was an only child, born and raised in London, England. I always loved art, and moved to New York City to pursue painting. Things were going well until, well, you know, the whole dying thing.

Oh right, I'm sorry. We don't have to talk about that.
No worries. It is what it is. I'm used to it, and especially now that I can communicate with Jason, I'd have to say life, or whatever you'd call being a soul trapped in somebody else's body, is going well. So don't hold back.

Okay then. I appreciate that. Two part question. What do you like best about being a soul, and what do you miss most from being alive?
That's a toughie. I guess they go hand in hand. I'm down to two senses. I can only see and hear. Can't touch, taste or smell. Since I don't get hungry, I guess I don't miss tasting or smelling much. And I'm actually able to experience those through Jason to a certain extent. But I miss touching things, being able to physically hold something. At the same time, the lack of physically touching things allows me to go wherever I want, see whatever I wish to. So I love the freedom, but hate that once I arrive somewhere I'm not able to fully experience it.

That would be hard. You mentioned you're able to communicate with Jason now. How is that? Do you get along?
Jason is a great guy. He's the first body I've been tethered to, unlike the other souls in here, so I don't really have anything to compare the experience to. But we get along really well. Once in a while he does something incredibly stupid and nearly gets all of us destroyed. But luckily he has a few things going for him that help us out in those situations.

But probably nothing you can talk about here.
Not really. You never know who's listening.

Let's go back to you then. What are some of your favorite books or movies?
My favorite book is On the Road by Jack Kerouac. That's part of what inspired me to move to New York. I just had to get out there and see the world. One of my favorite quotes from it is “The best teacher is experience, and not through someone's distorted point of view” I hear they're making a movie of it. I'll see if I can get Jason to go.

Very cool. Now that things have calmed down some, what's next for you and Jason?
I can't say much, but there's a very good chance we'll be headed to South America soon.

  Guys, I accomplished nothing yesterday because I could not stop reading Royal Street. Honestly, its been a long time that I felt this way and it was so refreshing! Happy Hunger Games - Parties and Panem Fashion!

Anyone going to the midnight showing of The Hunger Games? I wish I were, I can't wait to see it! Alas, even though I stay up until 4 in the morning, the rest of the world (and my kids) still get up and function early in the AM and leaves me grumpy because of lack of sleep. BUT there is a few rockin' Hunger Games Party's going on around the nation. Here is one that is going on here in Utah. 

The Shops at the Riverwoods in Provo Utah is throwing a kicken' Hunger Games release party on March 23 at 6:30 PM. They are giving away an entire theater full of HG movie tickets for that night! AND these snazy Mockingjay pins. There will also be:

I went to pick up the set of Capitol Colours and they were sold out of six of the colors. I am impatiently waiting for the remainder of the colors to arrive but have to tell you how awesome they are. The Riveting is stunning. Stone Cold and Agro are also beautiful. FYI, I love painted nails but hate that nail color doesn't stay long. I am shocked at how long this line has stayed put on these nails of mine. Currently I have had Stone cold on for five days and I have only two chips! No signs of wear and it is a true one coat color.
