Q: When you step out of your USUAL genre what do you like to read? Best books in that genre?

 

A: Obviously my favorite genre is paranormal, but it only accounts for half of what I read. After a paranormal burnout I had last month I have been into contemporary romance pretty heavily.

 

At this point my favorite contemporary romance has been Ophelia London's Playing at Love. Its cute, fun, relatable and sweet. One of my faves for the year.

  *****   Q: How did you find out about book blogging and what made you decide to start one yourself?   A: At the time I started My Life With Books I was a newly stay at home mom that had devoured every YA or Paranormal book my small town library had to offer. I went in search of recommended reading online and discovered a whole new wold of bloggers devoted to reading and I fell in love. I followed the book blogs for about nine months before I started thinking about starting one up. Three months after that MLWB was born. I decided to start book blogging because I was reading so many books and so many of my friends wanted to know what I recommended reading. Blogging was a natural way to keep track of books I liked while promoting them at the same time.   So far I have loved book blogging. While I don't always have the time I wish I had to devote to it, I wouldn't change it. The last 2 1/2 years have gone by quick. My blog has changed, and changed me, so much - I love it and don't know that I could ever stop. ♥     *****   Thank you for stopping by.
