His past. Her future. Can love bring them together in time?Abby's senior year of high school is going according to plan: good friends, cute boyfriend, and college applications in the mail. But when Dante Alexander, foreign-exchange student from Italy, steps into her life, he turns it upside down. He's mysterious, and interesting, and unlike anyone she's ever met before. Abby can't deny the growing attraction she feels for him. Nor can she deny the unusual things that seem to happen when Dante is around. Soon Abby finds herself drawn into a mystery whose roots reach into sixteenth-century Florence, and she uncovers a dangerous truth that threatens not only her future but the lives of those she loves.

One of our favorite traditions, is going down to our town's Santa house, saying hello to him, and seeing the live reindeer.

I think my favorite tradition would have to be secret santa. We use the whole month to leave treats for the person whose name we've chosen and then one big present on Christmas. Love it....

My favorite holiday tradition begins with Stockings. My parents were always late risers on Christmas morning so we were allowed to peruse the spoils of our stockings. The one odd thing that was in our stockings was a small piece of paper. This paper was the first clue in a treasure hunt. My parents would take one gift and hide it leaving clues to follow. It helped Christmas morning time last longer and be more memorable. It seems stockings are my favorite part since my husband and I make a traditional night before Christmas run to the store to get our stocking stuffers.

My family has a lot of similarities with the Griswalds from National Lampoons so we always buy gag gifts. Last year I bought my brother some of those HD sunglasses and he wrapped up a head of lettuce for me. It always keeps Christmas fun!
My favorite tradition is a fairly new one for us. This will be our 4th year doing this. We go to our towns Christmas tree lighting and sing carols. Then the next day we take all the grandchildren downtown for a visit with Santa and a scavenger hunt around downtown at various shops. Great fun!

My family doesn't have any big traditions we follow, but one Saturday before Christmas in New York City my sister and I hit a lot of the store windows that are decorated, go to Grand Central to see the light show and model train and see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. We also try and squeeze in a little Christmas shopping.

Well, my husband and I got married on Christmas of last year. So this year, we're trying to figure out our own traditions. One thing we both can agree on, is the anniversary date will be a dinner and a movie.
Christmas is my favorite holiday too, so I can't wait to figure out more traditions.

Hi, Jennifer!
Happy Holidays, and thank you so much for the giveaway!!
By the way, I really think you should have required people to follow you in order to enter your contest. You have such a GORGEOUS blog, you deserve more followers!! I can tell you that your blog design just blew me away, so I was more than happy to become a follower! And I'm being very sincere!
As for my favorite holiday traditions, I think I love them ALL!! I celebrate Christmas. I love putting a wreath on my door, decorating the Christmas tree, including a Nativity scene underneath, shopping for the holiday, driving around and looking at houses decoreated with lights and figures of Santa Claus and/or the Nativity... You see, Christmas is, hands down, my favorite time of year!! I also love going to Midnight Mass with my family, although I haven't been able to do so in the past few years. Needless to say, I also enjoy our Christmas Eve dinner, where the whole family gets together.
One tradition that is not 'officially' part of the Christmas holiday season is reading Christmas romances. Oh, I LOVE this one, too!! I know a lot of women enjoy reading such romances during the Christmas season. As a matter of fact, this year I'm participating in a Christmas Reading Challenge, hosted by the blog, "The Christmas Spirit"!

In second place is "The Family Man", which has the same theme, but approached from a different angle. Then there's the various versions of "A Christmas Carol", and "Miracle On 34th Street"...
My favorite tradition is going to my best friend's house to bake sugar cookies!
